Artists Statement:

My work is very personal to me as I have learned the craft from my grandfather, Phil Shaw. There is nothing else I would be more honored to have as a career. I create one of a kind pieces. Inspiration for my designs is found in the stones I work with. Their shape, texture, scale, and color give me direction I need to design the setting. I have great satisfaction in watching an individual find the specific piece that they connect with, making it their signature.

Jewelry as an art form has existed for thousands of years. A highly meaningful gift, a symbol of achievement and permanence, a personal statement, fine jewelry is an outward expression of some of life’s greatest joys. It is my goal to create jewelry ‘for the ages’ that stands the test of time in both durability and style.
